Thrive Montclair has posted the “Statement of Material Facts” regarding the taxpayers’ lawsuit as a part of its commitment to openness and transparency. It is our (the taxpayers’) opinion that since the filing of the lawsuit has already saved Montclair’s taxpayers $800,000.00, it was and still is worth the time and privately funded expense.

The file you are about to view is an actual unedited document already on file with the Essex County Superior Court. It is our opinion that all of the Montclair Township Council members (with the exception of Ted Mattox) who voted for these agreements are directly responsible for their actions represented in this lawsuit, especially as they continue to renew these agreements. It should be noted that the Montclair Township Council still continues its policy of supporting no-bid contracts today.
