• Regain the trust of the residents of Montclair and authorize and execute only those expenses necessary to maintain a safe, caring, environmentally progressive and fiscally sound Montclair.
• Avoid conflicts and the appearance of conflicts of interest and make full disclosure if such conflicts of interest exist with each occurrence.
• Ensure open communication and transparency between Montclair’s School District, Board of Education, Township Administration, all Township authorized committees and commissions and the residents of Montclair.
• Actively pursue, as a priority, new and innovative ways to eliminate waste, redundancy and all political and industrial cronyism.
• Explore creative solutions to Montclair’s commercial and residential needs while maintaining the dignity and historic character of Montclair.
• Order that Montclair become more environmentally friendly and pursue opportunities to become “green”.
• Develop more partnerships with the county, state and private industry to achieve economies of scale to reduce the local tax burden.
• Push to ensure that Montclair’s issues are on top of the minds of county and state officials who represent Montclair in Trenton.
• Pursue equitable educational and social solutions for all Montclair residents.
• Respect every resident in the face of criticism and differences of opinion.
